Meet

Mags

Trained in troubleshooting and having a life spent analysing situations, solving problems, making decisions and action planning, Mags knows how to take the complex and simplify it for all to understand.  This has proven to be a skillset that works well across multiple disciplines, Search & Rescue (SAR) being one of them.  Always running toward an incident, and not away from it. Mags is a person who keeps herself active and enjoys a challenge.

After moving to the UK in 2016, Mags quickly realised how her skills and attitude matched the opportunities that SAR presented. Joining a small unit with massive potential, Mags was offered the chance to help develop the organisation and within the first year trained as a Team Leader and became the Unit’s Lead. SAR plays a large part in Mag’s life and being involved in team management, operational deployment and training delivery, she has had the privilege of working with multiple organisations across the UKSAR family.

As a SAR practitioner and instructor with an Award in Education and Training, Mags joined L&MPS International as an Associate in 2023 and now uses her wealth of skills and experience to help our clients develop their SAR skills and improve search assurance whilst increasing her own capabilities by studying the best practices of the organisations we work alongside.
